1. The five layers
The Defynal State is described in the source as the convergence point where a person has been fully seen, understood, and solved for, producing aligned action, belief in the path, identity shift, and organic sharing through the Ripple Loop. The five layers below are the source layers, in the source order. The source defines no per-layer weights, so this tool does not invent any: each layer score is checklist completion only, and layer scores do not change Tvalue. Tvalue comes only from C, A, B, S, and R.
2. Score it
Score one person and one offer at a time. Enter each variable on a 0 to 1 scale. Use 0.50 when you genuinely do not know, and treat that as a gap to close, not as a neutral fact.
One person, one offer. Do not score a whole list at once.
Variables for the formula
Layer checklists
Check only what is actually known and written down. A blank field caps the score in the operator checklist: if any Field Mapping field is blank, C is capped below 0.70 in the source guidance, and if want versus need is not distinguished in writing, A is capped.
Layer 1 - Field Mapping 0 of 7 complete
Layer 2 - Truth Matching 0 of 3 complete
Layer 3 - Precision Steps (TrueSteps) 0 of 4 complete
Layer 4 - Emotional Sync 0 of 2 complete
Layer 5 - Feedback Loop 0 of 2 complete

Missing: Subject; C; A; B; S; R; and 18 checklist items.

3. Worked examples
Honest note: the source contains no numeric worked examples. The three examples below are illustrative only. Each one is computed with the source formula, and the arithmetic is shown so you can check it by hand. They are not source cases and not measured outcomes.
| Example | Inputs | C x A x B | S x R | Tvalue | Trigger? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A. Ready pitch, weak ripple Clear person, precise step, ready to act, but capture and referral are not yet at full strength. | C 0.85, A 0.80, B 0.75, S 0.90, R 0.90 | 0.51 | 0.81 | 1.32 | No. S x R is below 1.00. |
| B. Full trigger All three alignment variables at 0.90, and capture and ripple both at 1.00. | C 0.90, A 0.90, B 0.90, S 1.00, R 1.00 | 0.73 | 1.00 | 1.73 | Yes. |
| C. Not ready Clarity and action precision below 0.70. Fix the field map, not the wording. | C 0.55, A 0.60, B 0.80, S 0.70, R 0.60 | 0.26 | 0.42 | 0.68 | No. |
Hand check for A: 0.85 x 0.80 = 0.68; 0.68 x 0.75 = 0.51; 0.90 x 0.90 = 0.81; 0.51 + 0.81 = 1.32. Hand check for B: 0.90 x 0.90 x 0.90 = 0.729, shown as 0.73; 1.00 x 1.00 = 1.00; total 1.729, shown as 1.73. Hand check for C: 0.55 x 0.60 x 0.80 = 0.264, shown as 0.26; 0.70 x 0.60 = 0.42; total 0.684, shown as 0.68.
Loading an example also checks the checklist items that example assumes are complete. Example A checks 14 of 18 items, B checks all 18, C checks 6 of 18. Adjust the checks after loading if the real case differs.
4. Try it: a 5 minute walkthrough
- Name one person and one offer. Type them in the subject box. If you cannot name one person, stop: Defynal is solve-for-one, not solve-for-everyone.
- Load example C. See a not-ready score, then read the missing list. It tells you exactly what is blank.
- Fix Layer 1 first. Check the seven Field Mapping boxes only for facts you actually know. Watch C in your own judgment: the source caps C below 0.70 while any field is blank.
- Set C, A, and B. Move each slider only when you can defend the number in one sentence. If want versus need is not written down, keep A below 0.70.
- Name the TrueStep. One micro-action, its time, and the tool the person already has. If it needs a tool they do not have, it is not a TrueStep: pick a smaller step.
- Set S and R honestly. S is high only if you will actually capture the pattern. R is high only if the person has a real reason and a real audience to tell.
- Read the verdict. Below 0.70 on C or A means do not send the pitch yet. Below 1.00 on S x R means the trigger is not met even if the person acts: capture and referral are still missing.
- Copy the share link and keep it with the pitch draft, so the score travels with the work it judged.
5. How it works
Each variable is entered on a 0 to 1 scale in steps of 0.01. The tool multiplies C by A by B, multiplies S by R, and adds the two products. That sum is Tvalue, on a 0 to 2 scale. The trigger test is exactly the source test: C at 0.70 or above, A at 0.70 or above, B at 0.70 or above, and S x R at 1.00 or above. All four conditions must pass. Layer scores are checklist completion percentages. They are shown so you can see which layer is thinnest, but they are not folded into Tvalue, because the source defines no weight for them.
Observable signs listed in the source for a trigger are: immediate action, language and identity shifts, spontaneous referrals, and higher tolerance for discomfort. Those are signs to watch for after the fact. They are not inputs to the score.
What this is not
- Not science. No case metrics, controlled tests, or base rates are in the source.
- Not a guarantee. The source word is near-inevitable. That is a claim, not a measurement. Treat it as a claim.
- Not underwriting math. A high Defynal score does not raise ARV, change MAO, or affect repairs, title, or valuation in any way. Keep it out of the underwriting engine.
- Not evidence for the analogies. The decision theory, Monty Hall, and double-slit references in the source are high-level analogies. They are not tightly applied science and are not presented here as evidence.
- Not a substitute for a real conversion. A BrightStack is extracted only after a real person converts. No record, no reuse.
6. Where it plugs in
From the source operator guidance:
- Outbound and offer design: score every Scan and Dossier pitch and every outreach reply on C, A, B, S, R before sending. A pitch with C or A below 0.70 is not ready. Fix the field map, not the wording.
- Product onboarding: design the first Defynal moment, the first scan result or first dossier section, so the user sees themselves solved for in one step that fits their capacity.
- Prompt and agent design: Field Mapping is the intake schema. Truth Matching is the wants-versus-needs gate. TrueSteps are the output contract. The Feedback Loop is the BrightStack extraction.
- Content: solve for one real person completely, then scale the pattern. One real case, fully solved, beats ten generic tips.
Related sites: Neuruh Hub and the Residential Underwriting Engine. Defynal scores pitches and onboarding. The underwriting engine scores deals. Do not mix the two scores.
7. Honest gaps
- No numeric worked examples exist in the source. The examples on this page are illustrative, computed from the formula, and labeled as such.
- The source does not define how to measure C, A, B, S, or R. The 0 to 1 scales are implied, not specified. Two operators scoring the same person will differ. The checklist narrows that gap but does not close it.
- The source does not define per-layer weights. This tool refuses to invent them, so layer scores are descriptive only.
- S x R at 1.00 or above, on 0 to 1 scales, requires S and R both at 1.00. That makes the full trigger extremely strict. The source states the threshold as written; this tool does not soften it.
- No calibration data exists. There is no log of scores versus actual outcomes in the source, so no threshold on this page is validated against real conversions.
- Layout was not eyeballed in a real browser. Function was tested in jsdom with hand-computed values.
Source claims on this page are labeled as source claims. Anything the source asserts without evidence, including near-inevitable action and the trigger thresholds, is presented as the source position, not as a verified fact.
